GOOD MORNING AMERICA:  Trump set to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping

President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping were set to meet Sept. 24, with trade, fentanyl precursor shipments and artificial intelligence among the key issues on the agenda. This piece was both a lookahead of Trump's meeting with the Chinese President as well as a focus on one of the expected meeting topics including an ABC exclusive on the current fentanyl crisis.

GOOD MORNING AMERICA:  Houthis target Riyadh for 1st time since the Iran war began

I cut this taped piece when Yemen's Houthi rebels targeted Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, with a ballistic missile and drone, marking the first such attach since fighting escalated in July. The news broke around 10 pm on my overnight shift. I quickly got launched on the piece working up a draft and gathering in all the relevant video from our international and visual verifications desk. I then produced the piece and pushed it to air while also working and reading in the correspondent at 4 am before our airtime on all the news that broke overnight.

GOOD MORNING AMERICA:  Ships attacked in Strait of Hormuz as gas and diesel prices soar

I produced this piece including drafting, gathering the elements and covering the piece featuring the struggles of Americans as the price of diesel and gas soars due to the long war in Iran and the ongoing closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

GOOD MORNING AMERICA:  MADURO CAPTURED OVERNIGHT

I produced this story from start to finish for Good Morning America. This was considered a crash piece, we had just finished our overnight shift when reports on the Data miner came up about strikes in Venezuela. I had been covering the Venezuela boat strikes for the past month, and so I immediately knew a ground strike was a significant escalation by the U.S. 

I quickly drafted up a script and pulled in all relevant elements. Worked with the desk and my seniors to sift through the breaking news for the piece. Worked with my editor to crash produce the piece and I ended up taking the piece to air working closely with the correspondent making sure she was properly read in and the piece was pushed.

GOOD MORNING AMERICA:  THE POLITICAL FALLOUT AFTER MADURO'S CAPTURE

This piece focused on the political fallout and white house response after the announcement of Venezuela's leader Nicolas Maduro's capture. I produced this 3 and a half minute piece, delving into the White House speech following the capture and the behind the scenes of the operation within the Situation Room. I worked closed with Senior Political Correspondent Rachel Scott on this piece. I produced this piece to air, including working with my editor, gathering all the elements and building out the piece from scratch.

GOOD MORNING AMERICA: NO KINGS DAY PROTEST STORY

I produced this story from start to finish for Good Morning America, including drafting the piece, finding and adding in elements, working with the editors to create the piece, and communicating with the correspondent to see the piece both through air and to ensure the coverage for this massive protest was as comprehensive and accurate as possible.

This story covered the "No King Protest" a protest occurring alongside the 250th anniversary of the military. The protest sought to contend the administration's current immigration policies and show support for the immigrant community. 

GOOD MORNING AMERICA: INSIDE THE UNITED STATES DECISION TO BOMB IRAN 

I was on shift when the news broke that the United States had bombed the Iran's nuclear sites. The GMA team, including myself, quickly jumped into action, rearranging the rundown and getting entirely new pieces together. Having a politics background, I was assigned to produce the political aspects and behind the scenes of the decision. I quickly drafted a script, was in correspondence with our reporters, and gathering as many elements and details as possible before air. 

GOOD MORNING AMERICA: MASS FIRING OF FEDERAL WORKERS

There were a number of stories I produced detailing DOGE's efforts under Elon Musk to slash the federal workforce. This story highlights the series of letters and tweets spurring mass panic for federal workers on if their jobs were in jeapordy, including the moment federal workers were asked to provide a list of the things they do in a day.
